Log Cabin Luxury
We worked closely with our client to preserve the Up North log cabin feel with modern amenities. This family retreat and compound features a main cabin, guest cabin, and garage with bunk house above. When we remodeled this home on Torch Lake we retained the log cabin feel inside and out for each building. We updated the main cabin kitchen and bathrooms as well as adding a new sitting room to the main cabin from which to marvel at the Torch Lake views. The new sitting room was designed and crafted to match the existing 100-year-old log cabin. We renovated the guest cottage to include all things a guest might need such as a kitchen, complete bathroom, and ladder to the bunk house. The bunk house over the garage was designed and built to capture the feel of sailing on the lake in a luxury sail boat.
